For years I have been trying to get my personal account about what I experienced on March 13th 1997. That evening in the heart of the Arizona desert was the biggest UFO craft ever recorded in our atmosphere. It was also a sighting seen by more witnesses than of any other UFO recorded in history.

Before I tell my story I want to cover a few things first. I have tried for years to post my story on websites through out the internet to find that either the site wouldn't let me or it was erased the next day. I am an educated man who has been in the military, going to college and have a passion for studying things that are in the dark to most of the public. I am normal, mentally sane, and honest; my experience is completely valid. I am far from any nut job guy out there looking for fame or to tell a wacky story. I just want my story to be told to the public. Most people, I have noticed, are quick to take any UFO story and throw it out, labeling the witness a weird nut no matter the background of the witness. I have dealt with it myself but the way society has poked fun at this topic in the media explains a lot why most label other's experiences in such matters as invalid.

In most cases researchers have reported that most people who have had a UFO experience usually has them on and off through out life. For the first time here I will say that I have had a few different, valid, experiences through out my life dealing with UFOs. In my future blogs I will go into the different experiences that I have had. Feel free to drop me a comment or question on these matters. I am more than willing to tell you what I do know and what is questionable to me. I want to convey that I am not here to tell you my opinions on what I believe or think UFOs are, instead only to tell you what I experienced. No more or any less. Below is "The Phoenix Lights Documentary" explaining what happened that night from many witnesses. One thing I have noticed on every show & documentary I have seen on this subject, not one witness or story has been put out about the beginning of this sighting. I am the only one I know who is coming forward for the first time publicly to tell this part of the "Phoenix Lights" story. Watch this documentary and then read my own personal experience below that. THE PHOENIX LIGHTS DOCUMENTARY

I remember very well the evening of March 13th, 1997. I was a month from turning 15 years old at the time. I was sitting at home watching television a little before 7 pm in Chino Valley, Arizona. As I was watching television I heard the sound of a car skid abruptly into our gravel driveway in front of my house. I jumped up from the floor and ran quickly out the front door to see what the commotion was all about. My father and step mother were getting out of their Jeep Cherokee; both staring up into the Northwestern clear sky with a puzzled look on their face. I turned my head in the same direction to see what they were looking at. As my eyes focused into the night sky, I saw a "V" shaped pattern formed by very distinct orb lights. The point of the "V" was facing downward like an upside-down triangle coming down from the sky. The orb lights looked like bright stars sometimes displaying an orangish tint to them. It was apparent that these lights were way up in the atmosphere and were moving very slowly downward towards earth.

During the course of that month the Hale-Bopp comet was visible every night. I watched and studied it every night during this time. On March 13th, 1997, the Hale-Bopp comet was in the same area of the sky as the "V" shaped lights. Hale-Bopp was visible to the naked eye right next to the "V" shaped lights. My first thought was that Hale-Bopp must of had some pieces of debris that had been broke away and our atmosphere was pulling them in.

This "V" shaped formation of lights seemed to barely move at all. For almost an hour my father, step mother and I watched this phenomena coming out of the atmosphere above the hillside ridge line. It didn't take long for us to realize that this wasn't pieces of Hale-Bopp but instead a constructed formation of lights from some kind of craft or crafts.

I told my father to call his work and see if they know anything. My father was one of the head supervisors for the FAA Air Traffic Control Center at the Prescott, Arizona airport. He went inside and got on the phone as my step mother and I stayed outside and watched this slow moving formation coming out of the sky. A few minutes later he came back outside and told us that nothing has been seen on the airport radar and they knew nothing about what we were seeing.

After an hour had passed, the bright white orbed lights came really low over the hillside ridge line a few miles away. We knew this craft was now below the level of where normal clouds would be. We watched this formation very slowly move from pointing downward to straightening out parallel with the earth with the "V' point facing us. As this formation slowly adjusted it did not move from it's location over the ridge. Once it was parallel to the earth, it hovered over the hillside for about 5 minutes. After hovering for 5 minutes, it began to very slowly move directly towards us.

During all of this I counted 9 orb lights. At other times I only counted 7. It was apparent that this thing was one huge craft. I would say from wing to wing this thing was easily over a mile across.

My father, step mother and I watched for almost 20 minutes as this huge craft began slowly moving towards us. We were completely amazed. I don't remember feeling scared at all, instead I felt intrigued by this thing. We watched as the point of this thing slowly moved directly over our heads. This huge craft came directly centered over top of us without making any sound what so ever. It was going way to slow for any craft to stay in the air, especially from it's size. Only thing that could would be a helicopter, which would be heard overhead easily. This thing was very low to the ground, right over our heads and not one sound could be heard from it. I noticed as it passed by that the stars would disappear in between the lights, so I knew this was one huge craft.

We watched it as it slowly passed over us heading in the same direction as it began going after it went parallel to the earth. It was a good 10 minutes time as we watched this craft continue very slowly moving over Chino Valley, heading toward Phoenix until we couldn't see it anymore.

My father called the air traffic control station again afterward and they claimed nothing came up on the radar. It wasn't until the next day that the news reported it. They briefly said some strange lights went over Phoenix. There were thousands of reports and years of UFO shows who have covered this story. It always upset me that not one of these internet sites or shows on television ever talked about when, where and how this craft came out of the sky. After all these years all I continue hearing is how it flew over Phoenix and that is it. Through a lot of research I found that this craft was seen over Nevada, 300 miles of Arizona from Chino Valley to Tuscan and that parts of New Mexico also reported seeing it.

This concludes what I witnessed. It is strange but yet was very real. I will never forget what I saw that night in the Arizona desert. After a lot of research I also discovered that similar objects, smaller in nature had been seen over the Arizona desert skies prior and after that mass sighting. I have found reports that this craft has been seen in different regions of the world as well, but nothing close to the size of this thing.
